The canvas is waxed through rather than coated, so rain beads and rolls off, and the patina it builds belongs to the bag rather than being printed on at the factory. Leather takes the wear at the base and the strap roots — which is exactly where a canvas bag usually gives up first.

Inside there is a padded laptop sleeve, a full-width main compartment and a zipped pocket for the small things. The flap closes over the lot on two buckles.
