These Terms of Service govern your use of khalgold.com and the purchase of products from our online store. By using this website or placing an order you agree to these Terms. Please read them before ordering.

These Terms are drafted in accordance with United Kingdom consumer legislation, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.
2. About our business and our products
Khal Gold is a British business, based and operating in the United Kingdom, selling bags and travel accessories to customers in the UK. We are a retailer, not a manufacturer.
Our range is selected and specified in the United Kingdom. Our products are manufactured by partner workshops outside the United Kingdom and shipped directly to you by those partners. We do not describe our products as made in Britain, and where we refer to Khal Gold as a British brand we mean the business, not the place of manufacture. The delivery timeframes set out in our Shipping Policy reflect this.
3. Use of our website
By using this website you confirm that you are at least 18 years old, or that you are using it with the supervision of a parent or guardian. You agree to use it only for lawful purposes and not to introduce viruses or other harmful material. We may suspend access where misuse is detected.
4. Product information
We make every effort to describe our products accurately. Minor variation in colour and appearance can occur between screens, and leather and waxed canvas vary naturally between hides and batches. Measurements are approximate unless stated otherwise. Where we have not measured an item, we omit the figure rather than publish an estimate. We may correct product information at any time.
5. Pricing
All prices are shown in pounds sterling and include VAT where applicable. Prices may change, but a change will never affect an order we have already accepted. If a product is listed at an incorrect price we may cancel the order and refund you in full. Free UK delivery applies as set out in our Shipping Policy.
6. Orders
Placing an order is an offer to buy. Our order confirmation email acknowledges receipt of that offer; the contract between us is formed when we dispatch your item. We may decline or cancel an order for legitimate reasons, including suspected fraud, pricing error or unavailability, and will refund you in full where we do.
7. Payment
Payment is taken in full at the time of ordering, through Shopify's secure payment processing. We do not receive or store your full card details. You confirm that the payment method used is yours, or that you are authorised to use it.
8. Delivery
We deliver to mainland United Kingdom addresses only. Orders are normally processed within 1 to 2 working days, and standard UK delivery then typically takes 10 to 15 working days, as set out in our Shipping Policy. Delivery estimates are estimates and not guarantees, and can be affected by customs clearance and courier delays. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery. If your order has not arrived within 30 days, you may cancel it and receive a full refund.
9. Import duties and taxes
The price shown at checkout is the total price you pay. Khal Gold pays any import duties and taxes arising on goods shipped to you in the United Kingdom. You will never be asked for a further payment on delivery.
10. Cancellation, returns and refunds
You have 30 days from delivery to return an order, including if you simply change your mind. This meets and exceeds the 14 day statutory cancellation period under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. Return postage for change of mind returns is yours; we cover it where an item is faulty, damaged or not as described. Refunds are issued to the original payment method within 10 working days of approval. Full details are in our Refund Policy.
11. Faulty goods
If a product is faulty or not as described you have rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, including the short term right to reject within 30 days, and rights to repair, replacement or refund beyond that period. We may ask for photographs in order to assess the issue. Nothing in these Terms limits your statutory rights.
12. Intellectual property
All content on this website, including text, images, branding and design, is owned by or licensed to Khal Gold and may not be copied, distributed or reproduced without permission.
13. Accounts
If you create an account you are responsible for keeping your login details confidential and for activity carried out under your account. Please tell us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.
14. Limitation of liability
We do not exclude or limit our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our liability is limited to the purchase price of the product concerned.
15. Website availability
We aim to keep this website available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Maintenance, updates or technical faults may interrupt it, and we may modify or discontinue parts of it.
16. Privacy
Your personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. We do not sell personal information.
17. Marketing communications
If you subscribe to our emails you may unsubscribe at any time using the link in any message. We do not send unsolicited marketing.
18. External links
Our website may contain links to third party sites. We are not responsible for their content, and inclusion of a link does not imply endorsement.
19. Events outside our control
We are not liable for delay or failure caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including courier disruption, customs delay and supply chain interruption. We will tell you if such an event occurs and, where the delay is substantial, you may cancel your order and receive a full refund.
20. Complaints
If something has gone wrong, please email hello@khalgold.com or call 07415 159050. We will acknowledge your complaint within two working days and aim to resolve it within 14 days.
21. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The version in force at the time you place your order is the version that applies to that order.
22. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full effect.
23. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. Your statutory rights as a consumer are unaffected.
