This one starts from the paper: the main compartment is cut so an A4 folder and a laptop both lie flat, with no bowing at the sides and no corner of a document folded over because the bag was a centimetre short.

Stitched in heavy waxed thread, with the edges painted and burnished rather than left raw.

Why You'll Love It
